EDIT!! This post was written before the latest episode. I swear that Shonda (yes, I’m on a first name basis with that heffa) has GOT to be on her period or someone recently broke her heart because every last male character on this show has morphed into this UBER-asshole! Da hell?!?!?!

i’m a newcomer to all of the “nobodyknowswheretheymightendup” goodness that is grey’s anatomy. even when amani mentioned that one of his former classmates was joining the cast and that this was one of his favorite shows, i was just like “eh..” but somehow i got hooked right around the end of season two…i think…and then found the re-airing of season one on lifetime…but my impatient spirit couldn’t wait for sunday evenings in syndication so i netflixed both seasons and spent my entire february break falling in love w/ grey’s.

i became fond of meredith with her ally mcbeal self-centeredness (and scarily anorexic look), firmly joined the “team christina” camp, developed a deep hatred for izzie’s dramatic histrionics, and secretly began wishing that i could lick the back of dr. burke’s neck to see if he actually tasted like deep chocolate… (more…)

i feel like i’m sitting in an internet cafe right now - or at least this is what i think it feels like seeing as how i haven’t had my laptop for even a month now. at any rate, i’m in my backyard on the patio after work and dinner, sitting in one of my high chairs drinking a cup of decaf and taking full advantage of my wireless service. this is the life!! while i’m relaxing i’ve been thinking about what i think is a pretty important decision that i’m about to make today…. over the years i’ve come to accept that i’m somewhat of a hermit by nature. sure, i can socialize when neccessary, but when it comes right down to it i prefer my solitude. that being said, i love love love my female friends - not the ones that i socialize with just for socializations sake but the ones that i can genuinely call friends…jade, tiff, full house (the roommates)…those are women that i would give my left ovary to.

last night i got together with my full house counterparts and another one of my line sisters. it was #11’s birthday. she’d flown in from new york to attend a bridal shower that we’d given for her. y’all it was absolutely FABULOUS. because she’s a fashion designer…i’ll pause to let you all peruse her webpage because it’s been a while since i’ve blogged and you all may have forgotten the details about the major players in my life….pausing….
